Jointly developed by Henderson Land Development Co Ltd and Surbana Land (China) Ltd, La Botanica is located within Chan Ba Ecological District with a naturally luxuriant riverside setting. Situated along the eastern coast of Chan River, the project has a site area of about 1,334,000 sq m and total GFA of 3,000,000 sq m, with approximately 85 per cent designated for residential use. A new subway line connecting to the site is under construction and is scheduled for opening in 2016. 

     Comprising low density houses, mid to high-rise luxury residential apartments, together with commercial and retail space, La Botanica is set to emerge as a significant new community in Xian and will provide homes for up to 25,000 families when completed.

     Phase 1A of La Botanica occupies a site area of 53,520 sq m and comprises 16 low to mid rise blocks with total GFA of about 110,000 sq m. Construction works for Phase 1A have commenced in July 2008. Pre-Sale was launched in November 2008 and all 981 units have been sold, which are scheduled for handover to individual owners in the second quarter of 2011.
