The low-density Avignon residential development on Castle Peak Road by Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) will have marvelous views of the sea and mountains, plus a 380,000-sq ft garden designed by internationally-renowned landscape architects to create an eco-friendly backyard. Recently, the developer has introduced the elegant design concept and layout of the development¡¯s themed Monet Garden.
SHKP will invest HK$200 million to have landscape architects AECOM, who were involved in designing Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi in Japan, to create a 380,000-sq ft themed garden that will cover nearly 80% of the development. It will be styled after the garden that inspired impressionist masterpieces by Claude Monet, with a vibrant Blossom Court and Aqua Place tranquil space by a pond to offer residents scenic views like those in the French countryside.
The project will provide 459 residential units, with configurations of one to four bedrooms, duplexes, special units and villas.
