The proposed amendments to stage two works for the widening of Tolo Highway/Fanling Highway between Island House Interchange and Fanling were gazetted.
     These revisions address the objections to the original scheme and will comply with engineering considerations in nearby areas.
     They include changing the layout of Kau Lung Hang Vehicular Bridge with walkway, and Tai Wo, Kiu Tau and Ho Ka Yuen footbridges, some sections of the noise barriers, at-grade carriageways, access tracks and footpaths, and the retaining wall near Ma Wat drainage channel.
     The location of some refuge islands and the proposed limit of works area, and the location of the proposed signal-controlled junction near Kau Lung Hang Vehicular Bridge will be revised. The proposed retaining wall near Ho Ka Yuen Footbridge will be deleted.
