The Land & Development Advisory Committee has supported the proposed conversion of a Yau Tong industrial building for hotel and commercial use.
     The proposal, submitted by Ever Sun International Holdings, will convert Wing Shan Industrial Building to feature exposition space and a gallery, hotel and catering facilities, shops, and storage, packaging and delivery services. It will also provide a waterfront promenade along Yau Tong Bay. The proposal is subject to Town Planning Board approval.
     The committee also backed the relocation of Kowloon City Baptist Church from Argyle Street to a new building on Tung Lei Road, Kowloon City.
     The project will provide space for the church to meet the growing demand for religious and social services in Kowloon City.
