Organized by China Construction News and VNU Exhibitions Asia, China Sustainable Building Forum (CSB 2010) will be held from March 23-25 at Shanghai New International Expo Center. The mission of the forum is: To promote the further development of green building with China characteristics.

     CSB Forum 2009 initiated wide communication on green building, industry opportunities and energy-efficient initiatives among over 200 exhibitors, 6,500 visitors and 800 experts and scholars, CSB Forum 2010 will focus on green community development with Chinese own features and creating green business opportunities for the grassroots.

 

One of the highlight of CSB 2010 is specialized exhibition area arranged for showcasing the latest low carbon design, green building materials, products and technologies, which offers the visitors an interactive platform for trading, communication and integrating resources. CSB 2010 will be held concurrently with R+T Asia (China International Shading and Energy-Efficient Technology Expo), DOMOTEX asia / CHINAFLOOR (China International Flooring Material and Technology Expo), Shanghai International Landscape Design & Urban Construction Expo. Within 1.5 million square foot exhibition area, more than 1,500 exhibitors have committed to join the exhibitions. Approximately 60,000 professional visitors will come to the events to advance Chinese green building industry through creating green community, efficient technology, ecological product and healthy life.

 

Initiated by Society of Entrepreneurs & Ecology (SEE), China Urban Realty Association (CURA) and China Philanthropist Network (CPN), China Green Build Movement aims at calling on people to raise concern about the ecological protection under rapid development of urbanization, meanwhile, to promote the urban development and reduce the energy consumption during construction. Moreover, it advocates the environmental protection issues by enhancing daily behavior and assists the government to upgrade the regulation of urban planning and construction. Through joint effort, the earth will be much greener and help create a sustainable environment for mankind.

 

During the three show days, the organizer will host a series of activities including the China Sustainable Building Leaders Summit, the Founding Ceremony of Society of Entrepreneur Ecology Eastern China Region, 2010 China Sustainable Building Forum, Germany Sustainable Building Council networking, USGBC LEED Educational Training, Green Design Workshop, Green Materials Souring Expo, and Green Investment Opportunity Fair. The event will bring together over 60,000 professional visitors from government agencies, real estate developers, building and construction corporations, educational institutes and media partners around the world.
