Landscape designs for 22 housing estates completed
The Housing Authority said the air quality impact of its operations has been cut, noise nuisance minimised, and energy and water consumption reduced.
The Authority has planted 2,400 trees, 575,600 shrubs and 64,300 annuals in its estates from April 2007 to March 2008. It improved landscape designs for 22 public housing estates, covering a total area of 116,000 square metres, and made substantial efforts to provide green treatments for slopes in all of its new development projects.
