Low-density luxury residence Peak One to complete in 2009
Located on the top of Tung Lo Wan Shan in Shatin with breathtaking views, Peak One will be a low-density luxury residential project developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties. Its name Peak signifies that it is in the highest point in the district, while One refers to its exclusivity. Like The Peak, Peak One has a plot ratio as low as 0:9, which will guarantee residents privacy and spaciousness.
Peak One is being developed in three phases. The first phase with 400 units in eight towers is expected to be ready in the forth quarter of next year. Low-density mid-rise buildings will make up the bulk of the project, while detached houses will also be available.
The developer wants to make Peak One a prestigious residential project with the best privacy in Shatin, so it invested HK$400 million in building a new road that connects directly to Route 8. This is the only residential project on the road. Peak One's many other features make it comparable to luxury properties on The Peak. The low plot ratio and private road will offer residents maximum privacy, and the tree-lined hills surrounding echo what luxury properties on The Peak offer. The project is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2009.
