Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP), the Wharf Group and Henderson Land announced plans to develop a major integrated residential and commercial complex on a prime site on Dongda Avenue in Chengdu.

     The Dongda Avenue development will be on a prime site in Jinjiang District in Chengdu bounded by Shuanggui Road, Niusha Road, Erhuan Road and Shahe. The GFA will be over 13 million sq ft. There will be an office tower of over 280 metres rivaling the prestigious Two IFC in Hong Kong, a five-star hotel, high-end shopping centre with international retailers and residences.
     A number of five-star hotels are planned for Dongda Avenue to add a tourist aspect to the financial dimension. The area has good transport connections with the city's number 2 subway line under construction and a number 9 line proposed to connect Dongda Avenue and commercial areas nearby.
