The Government published a notice in the Gazette on ancillary road works to Hang Hau Tsuen Channel at as part of a drainage improvement project required to alleviate flooding.
     The proposed works include constructing an approximately 400 metres long drainage channel and provision of a carriageway with associated maintenance access ramp, footpaths and a car park; constructing four footbridges across the Hang Hau Tsuen Channel and ancillary works including water pipe laying, drainage and constructing retaining walls.

     The works will start at the end of 2009 and is expected to be completed at the end of 2012.
