SHKP has undertaken a major renovation of WTC More in Causeway Bay. The first phase of the mall was finished and the second phase is scheduled for completion in the third quarter.
     The WTC More expansion and renovation started in 2006. The first phase involved turning the sixth to 13th floors from offices into retail, restaurant and entertainment outlets. The gross retail floor area increased by about 120,000 sq ft. The second phase of renovation that started recently involves renewing the facades on Jaffe Road and Gloucester Road as well as beautifying the surrounding environment.

     WTC More has widened the windows to take advantage of the splendid harbour view, as a significant selling point of the mall. The four lifts have been given double-decker cars with a higher capacity to speed up visitor flow. The new express escalator driving shoppers from the second floor directly to the fourth floor will be installed in the atrium for greater convenience. The number of outlets housed in the mall will increase from 64 to over 100 when the renovations are done. Full completion is scheduled for year end.
