Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) has completed the renovation at East Point City shopping arcade in Tseung Kwan O in late 2008. The upgrade included new interiors and a refined tenant mix with 60 per cent more stores. After renovation, the number of outlets increases from 92 to 150.

     The two-storey East Point City measures a total area of 400,000 sq ft. The makeover included upgrading the atrium, aisles and entrances to give the mall a lively feel, and for a whimsical touch the benches look like computer keyboards. The first floor atrium has indoor high definition screen broadcasting news and entertainment.
