The Government published a notice in the Gazette on proposed road works for the future development at Lower Ngau Tau Kok.
     The works include constructing a carriageway with footpaths connecting Kwun Tong Road and Ngau Tau Kok Road and providing footbridge links for Lower Ngau Tau Kok Estate. The existing carriageways and footpaths of Ngau Tau Kok Fourth Street and Fifth Street will be permanently closed and demolished upon completion and opening of the proposed carriageway.
     The works will start in April 2009 and are expected to be completed in 2012.
