About Marco eCom
Marco eCommerce Service Limited is a joint-venture company established by Mr Kuok Lam Sek, a veteran in the Macao construction industry for more than two decades and Felix Leung, publisher of China Trend publishing group which was founded in Hong Kong in the 70s.
Mr Kuok is the founder of Hung Yip Group and chairman of Mecom Power (HKex 1183), a public listed company in the Hong Kong Exchange. He points out that to cope with the Greater Bay Area economic development strategy Macao is well positioned to become a vital business information center, connecting international traders and investors with companies in the bay region, particularly as a business hub for Portuguese speaking regions in the world to expand trade with China.
Mr Leung has been focusing on professional publishing and exhibition business since the 70s. The portal site www.building.hk established in 1996 provides comprehensive building and construction news to the rest of the world in the past 23 years, and the group’s publishing business expanded to Macao in 2006.
Mr Leung is confident that the newly opened Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge provides a vital physical link which connects Macao with Hong Kong into one entity for all business activities. With a state-of-the-art hospitality infrastructure already in place, Macao is the most ideal city for the development of vertical O+O information and trading platforms in the Greater Bay Area.
