Shanghai IFC Mall to open in first half of 2010
Located in the heart of the Lujiazui financial trade zone, Shanghai IFC development will have a high-end mall of over a million square feet, grade-A offices in two towers and two hotels. Cutting-edge architecture and construction quality will make Shanghai IFC an ultra-modern addition to the city.
Shanghai IFC will contain about four million sq ft of GFA in a six-storey shopping mall of a million sq ft, two million sq ft of grade-A offices and Ritz-Carlton and W-Hotels covering another million sq ft.
The Shanghai IFC development blends with the Lujiazui financial zone cityscape. The mall with a diamond-like appearance will glitter with the vibrancy of the city, with opulent interiors framing the most stylish shopping environment. Shanghai IFC mall will be one of the foremost luxury shopping destinations in the world.
The master design of Shanghai IFC is by world-renowned Cesar Pelli and the shopping mall by Benoy Architects, who also did the IFC and APM in Hong Kong respectively. The development will be completed in phases, with first phase of 900,000 sq ft of offices, W-Hotel and the mall in 2009 and the full project in 2010.
