The tender for Tuen Mun Town Lot No. 500 has been awarded to Fortune Choice Development Limited on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $3.63 billion, the Lands Department announced on June 17.
     Fortune Choice's parent company is Henderson Land Development. The site, at Kwun Chui Road in Tuen Mun, has an area of about 24,336 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum and the maximum gross floor area are 43,776 sq m and 72,960 sq m.
     One June 24, another residential site on Cheung Chau has been awarded by the Lands Department to Moonlight Shadow Holdings on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $68.9 million.
     The site is Lot No.1872 in Demarcation District Cheung Chau on Fa Peng Road. It has a site area of 3,410 square metres. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 1,637 and 2,728 sq m.
