Sir Terry Farrell inaugurated into 48 Group Club
On December 1, 2010, Sir Terry Farrell was honoured with a Fellowship of the prestigious 48 Group Club in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of positive relations between China and the UK .
     Hosted by Ambassador Liu Xiaoming the 48 Group Club¡¯s annual Icebreakers Reception was held at the Chinese Embassy in London .  
     Sir Farrell joins an exclusive list of Fellowship awardees including former Prime Minister Tony Blair, Sir David Tang and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber.  
     The 48 Group Club is an independent business network committed to promoting positive relations with China . The origins of the Club stem from the early 1950s, when the founding ¡°Icebreakers¡± were the first Westerners to establish mutually beneficial trade relations with the newly formed People¡¯s Republic of China.
