Nippon Paint has successfully provided hi-tech quality products in the construction of World Expo from three coating divisions with added colorful experience to key pavilions of World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China.
　In this international event, exhibitors showcase advanced technology and new invention to the world. It is also one of the best World Expo events in history. As a leading company in the coating industry, Nippon Paint's Heavy Duty Coating Division, Project Coating Division and Architectural Coating Division have successfully participated in the construction of key pavilions in this World Expo, devoting professional and advanced coating technology to ensure quality completion of these projects.
　Among the three coating divisions, Heavy Duty Coating Division has participated in the outdoor floor of Coca-cola Pavilion, steel structure of Irish Pavilion and the Expo Performance Centre. The Expo Performance Centre, a part of the "four-axis hall" building, is the largest single steel structure in the region with 36,000 tons of steel being consumed.
　Project Coating Division of Nippon Paint has provided environmentally friendly interior product to the China Expo Pavilion and the Expo Performance Centre. Besides, it has also participated in Expo Block B and Block D of old building reconstruction and new rural reconstruction program.
　Architectural Coating Division, which is the leading supplier to consumer market in China, has provided the most advanced eco-friendly product to one of the Eco residence pilot projects. Based on Nippon Paint China Magic Shield and long lasting antibacterial technology platform, it provides perfect living experience to the Eco-project residence in World Expo 2010 Shanghai.
