Vendor’s new IQ continuous towel cabinet ensures washroom visitors can always dry their hands. By using smart, patented technology which allows scrim reinforced paper towel to be topped up at any time, the IQ guarantees continuous availability of clean towel. Used towel is rolled up in the towel cabinet, completely separated from the new towel, guaranteeing hygiene for the washroom visitor.

     Just like a traditional roller towel dispenser the Vendor IQ produces a ‘loop’ of paper towel and uses a portion control mechanism. However, instead of a single roll which needs to be replaced when used up, the towel in the IQ cabinet can be topped up with a new ‘cassette’ of folded paper at any time. Adding a new cassette is very easy, even for untrained staff, and can be done on every cleaning round.

     An indicator in the front of the cabinet shows the level of unused towel and a simple colour coding system shows which type of cassette (medium or large) should be used for topping up. A new cassette is simply placed on top of the existing one and attaches itself automatically using a unique ‘hook and loop’ mechanism. In this way a non-stop towel supply and continuous, hygienic hand drying is guaranteed.

     The fact that a waste paper bin is no longer required also is a major benefit. Overflowing waste bins lead to a negative impression of the washroom and a dissatisfied washroom visitor. The Vendor IQ towel cabinet guarantees tidiness and hygiene at all times.

     Three types of the Vendor IQ towel cabinet are currently available of the: the Classic, which presents a new towel after pulling down the used part; the Automatic, which automatically presents a new towel after the hands are dried; and the Sensomatic, which provides a clean towel when a hand is waved in front of the cabinet. The IQ can also be tailored to a customer’s needs: the length of the loop, waiting time for a new portion of clean towel, the resistance while pulling down the used towel, or the sensitivity of the sensor are all adjustable. Different designs and an almost unlimited range of colours are also available.

     The Vendor IQ range not only uses smart technology but is also very sustainable. The paper towels have a Nordic Swan Ecolabel and the Automatic and Sensomatic models are fitted with long-life, rechargeable batteries.
