Tuen Mun site sold
The tender for a Tuen Mun site has been awarded on a 50-year land grant for a premium of $83.19 million, announced by the Lands Department on October 24. The site, located at Lot No. 2883 in Demarcation District No. 130 at Fuk Hang Tsuen Lane, Lam Tei, was awarded to Jantix Realty (Hong Kong). It has a site area of 1,748 sq m and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum and maximum gross floor areas are 566.4 sq m and 943.9 sq m.
     The Buildings Department approved 23 building plans in August - six on Hong Kong Island, five in Kowloon and 12 in the New Territories. Eleven were for apartment and apartment-commercial developments, eight for commercial developments, one for factory and industrial developments, and three were for community services developments.
     Consent was given for works to start on 14 building projects which will provide 79,934 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 1,017 units, and 93,433 sq m of gross floor area for non-domestic use. The department also issued 23 occupation permits - ten on Hong Kong Island, four in Kowloon and nine in the New Territories.
     
Buildings certified for occupation have 117,894 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 2,414 units, and 104,003 sq m for non-domestic use. The declared cost of new buildings completed in August was about $7.2 billion.
